Portraits

An oil portrait is a piece of art that will be treasured for generations. Nicolas paints in a classical style with a contemporary touch through which he is able to capture the likeness, essence, and spirit of his subjects. This is accomplished through live sessions as well as utilizing photographs as references. While the photos are helpful, it is preferred that he spend time with the subject, not only to capture the physical likeness, but to absorb the personality of the subject and incorporate that into the portrait.
